Do I need to sign a contract?

No. We do not require contracts for our residential lawn maintenance services. Our goal is to earn your business through reliable, high-quality service.

How often will my lawn be serviced?

Accepted Answer

Most lawns are serviced weekly during the growing season. Depending on weather conditions and the time of year, biweekly service may also be available.

Question 3

Can we request lawn care on a specific day of the week or a specific time of the day?

Accepted Answer

We will try to accommodate your day request but cannot guarantee it. We service specific locations on certain days of the week. We do not take time of the day requests.

Question 4

If it is raining on my scheduled date, when should I expect service?

Accepted Answer

If weather conditions prevent us from servicing your lawn safely or effectively, we will reschedule your service for the next available day.

Question 5

How do I pay for work other than lawn care, such as landscaping work, gravel / rock, or mulch installation?

Accepted Answer

All major work (landscaping, gravel / rock, mulch, etc.) requires a 50% deposit and the additional 50% is due the day of work completion.

What is included in your mowing services?

Accepted Answer

Our mowing services include lawn mowing, edging the driveway and sidewalk surrounding your home, string trimming around all areas where the mower cannot reach and blowing all clippings off hard surfaces. Shrubs, plant / flower beds, brick patio, or walkways are invoiced as additional services.

When is my payment due?

Payment is due upon receipt. Your invoice must be paid within 5 days after you receive the invoice. A $5.00 late fee will be added on the 6th day of non-payment and another $15.00 on the 10th day of non-payment with a service cancellation until payment is made in full. Monthly invoices are available (must have a credit card on file)

We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and electronic payments. We also accept Zelle & Venmo as payment options.

Can I get a quote over the phone?

No. We need to see your property to give a fair and accurate estimate.

Do I need to be home for my estimate?

Accepted Answer

No. As long as we can access your back yard and your pets are secured.

How do I request an estimate?

Fill out the estimate request form, send us an email to info@platscape.com or call us at (813) 321-9155 or text us with your request. We will need your name, email, phone, and address as well as what service you request.

Can you still service my back yard if my dog is in the back yard and he does not bite or he is chained up.?

We cannot service the back yard if your pets are not secured in the house due to safety of all personnel and your pet.

Question 14

Will the same crew service my property on all service visits?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The same crew will service all residential properties all the time. The owner is at all residential service visits and will do the final walk through on each service.

Should I water my lawn prior to a lawn mowing service visit?

Accepted Answer

For best results, please do not water your lawn the night before or the morning of scheduled service.

Question 16

I currently own property in Zephyrhills, but I do not live there. How do I know that you are servicing my property?

Accepted Answer

We send a monthly photo of your property to your email address at no additional cost if you are away to give you peace of mind. Out-of-state services are paid in advance.

Can I call and skip a service visit?

Accepted Answer

If you skip a service visit, we cannot guarantee your current service day or price. Our crews work on a schedule to provide you reliability and if someone calls requesting a scheduled service, then we will place them in your slot.

Do I need to clean up pet waste before service?

Accepted Answer

Yes. For the safety of our crew and to help us provide the best quality lawn service, we ask that all pet waste be removed before your scheduled appointment. If pet waste is present a $45 fee will be assessed, an additional cleanup fee may be added, or service may need to be rescheduled. If pet waste is persistent services may be discontinued.

Is there a cancellation fee?

Accepted Answer

No cancellation fee applies for routine service cancellations with proper notice. Special services or last-minute cancellations may be subject to fees.
